Ganesha Chaturthi

Lord Ganesha was born in the Gregorian month of August or September, which corresponds to the Shukla Paksha of the Bhadrapada month of the Hindu calendar.
Lord Ganesha is worshipped for changing people’s fortunes and removing disasters and obstacles from their paths.
Ganesha Chaturthi was celebrated at school. Students came in colourful dress and took part in all the preparations for the Ganesha pooja. The Ganesha idol was brought to school with all due rituals and respect, decorated beautifully, and the pooja was offered. All students received the blessings of Lord Ganesha, and Gowri prasadam was distributed to all the devotees.
