Krishna Janmashtami

Janmashtami is celebrated with great devotion and reverence, as it marks the birth of Lord Krishna, who is seen as a symbol of divinity, love and righteousness. His life and teachings inspire devotees to lead a life based on dharma, karma and bhakti. Krishna Janmashtami was celebrated at school. Kindergarten and primary students were beautifully dressed as little Krishnas and Radhas. Teachers organised dancing and singing programmes, and prasadam was distributed to all the children in the name of Lord Krishna.
